It is interesting how I find out about shows...I dont seem to get a two week notice. I either get a situation where I am told 4 weeks in advance..OR the other extreme. Yeah, this weekend, I found out on Friday that I could do a gig with Angelica on Saturday. Mind you I had thought I MIGHT work at the Jungle but turns out they are still not having shows due to a "two week" hiatus that has now lasted for three weeks. Ahhh, the tempers of owners. Anyway, Angelica was having a show at a venue I have never worked before...the Nuthouse.
Of course what with a social also going down on Saturday night, it made for a very busy weekend but I was able to do it..(grin). Sooo, saturday night, I joined Angela, Margo, Cuba and a girl named Mysti Mystique (no pictures of her except the group picture) to wow 'em at the NutHouse.
Music consisted of 3 songs: 1. "A Girls Got To Do what a Girls Got to do" by Mindy Macready 2. "Love me like you used to love me" by Tanya Tucker and 3. "He is My Strongest Weakness" by Wynona Judd.
